Welcome To The Place Where Feelings Live

Where Every Emotion Has A Home and Every Heart Feels Welcome

Why Feelings Matter—and Why I Write About Them

I grew up in a home where emotions weren’t welcomed. Now, I'm trying to break that cycle—and help other parents do the same—by providing a place for every child's heart and emotions, and every parent's journey in supporting that. These stories are gentle invitations to feel, name, and grow—together.

Ori is the gentle, wise guide of The Feelings Zoo—always ready to help little ones find their way through big emotions. With kind eyes and a calm heart, Ori listens, supports, and reminds every child that their feelings are safe, speakable, and worthy of understanding. Whether you’re feeling lonely, worried, or brave, Ori is here to show you that every feeling belongs.

Lenny is the tender heart of

The Place Where Feelings Live

—a brave little lion learning that it’s okay to feel lonely, scared, or unsure. With his warm smile and gentle spirit, Lenny shows kids that courage isn’t about roaring the loudest—it’s about reaching out, asking for help, and learning how to name what you feel. Every emotion has a place here, and Lenny is here to help make that place feel safe.

Above the silhouette, the words "COMING SOON" appear in bold blue letters on a white background. The image has a gentle, whimsical tone suitable for a children’s book reveal.

Wally is a thoughtful, tender-hearted worrier. He often keeps to himself, unsure and anxious about reaching out—but deep down, he longs for connection. When Wally meets Lenny, something shifts. With a quiet smile and a brave little “hello,” Wally learns that friendship doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be real. His story reminds kids that worry is a feeling too—and even the most nervous hearts can find their people.

Tully is a tender soul in The Place Where Feelings Live. He’s shy, thoughtful, and often pulls into his shell when the world feels too big. Tully doesn’t yell or push—he freezes, overwhelmed by feelings he doesn’t always know how to name. But inside that quiet is a heart full of hope. Tully’s story reminds kids that there’s strength in stillness, bravery in showing up, and power in speaking up—even if your voice shakes.
